Journeys. Déambulations dans la Turquie contemporaine continues the series of exhibitions initiated at the Espace culturel Louis Vuitton in 2006, exploring the contemporary art scene in a foreign country. After Indonesia in 2011, Space now honours Turkey.
A mosaic of populations, Turkey presents a vibrant artistic scene, showing the modern face of this country in motion. Eleven artists, of different generations and using various techniques, each evoke in their own way the theme of travel, dear to Louis Vuitton: a journey through their country, vast by its history, geography and the multicultural essence of its people; or an intimate and introspective journey, touching on the universal.
