Veilhan Venezia

Documentary

For the Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art 2017, the French artist Xavier Veilhan has created a recording studio conceived as a gigantic sculpture. For seven months, his installation Studio Venezia revealed the intimacy of musical creation to 500,000 visitors, allowing them to attend the sessions of over 250 international musicians. The film follows this unprecedented experience, the possibilities offered by such a device, and paints a portrait of an artist crazy about music at a key moment in his career.
