Since January 22, 2006, Evo Morales Ayma is Bolivia’s first indigenous president. As thousands of other peasants and minors, he fled the Altiplano’s misery in search of a better future. From his childhood village to the presidential palace, Evo Morales’ voice tells us how the son of an aymara peasant, lama breeder, is today the leader of the social, political and economic recasting of Bolivia.
